Karen Schoenau

Katie Stapleton is an attorney at Guymon Law with her practice focused solely on family law matters to include Orders of Protection. Ms. Stapleton earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in both Political Science and French from Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts. After relocating to Arizona, she earned her Juris Doctor degree from Arizona Summit Law School, where she was a member of the Women’s Law Association. After graduating, she joined the New Mexico Bar in 2018 and the Arizona Bar in 2019.

Upon admission to the Arizona State Bar, she immediately began working in family law. In 2024, she joined the legal team at Guymon Law. Ms. Stapleton is passionate about family law and connects with her clients on a personal level, while still prioritizing the importance of a professional relationship. She represents every client with a strong sense of advocacy and integrity and enjoys approaching cases with a problem-solving mindset.

Ms. Stapleton was selected for the Rising Stars Super Lawyers in April 2023 and again in April 2024. When not practicing law, she enjoys traveling, hot yoga, and spending time with her Great Dane, pitbull and niece.
