Emerson K

Emerson earned his J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2025, and is currently working toward admission to the Arizona Bar. He started working in family law as a law clerk in 2023, gaining hands-on experience in family court through externships with a family court judge and a law firm. Emerson quickly found a passion for helping Arizona families navigate the difficult and often overwhelming process of family court, and knew that family law was where he wanted to build his career. Emerson joined Guymon Law in 2025 as a law clerk and has loved being part of the dedicated team here ever since.

During law school, Emerson spent significant time volunteering with community legal service organizations, and placed 5th nationally in the American Bar Association’s Representation in Mediation competition. Although he grew up in California, Emerson moved to Arizona in 2016 and now calls Arizona home. Outside of work, Emerson enjoys finding new music, competitive ballroom dancing, and spending time with his family, friends, and two cats.
